Four Seasons invests in Jacksonville plans
USA: The Jacksonville Shipyards development on St Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida, an ambitious City project to turn disused industrial space into a thriving waterfront community, is to include a Four Seasons hotel. Four Seasons is partnering with Shahid Khan (via Iguana Investments Florida) to build the new hotel and private residences.
Phase one of the City’s plan includes building a six-storey office building, revamping its full-service marina, revitalising Metropolitan Park, and adding a multi-function marina services building and public park. Hotel guests, residents and locals will all have access to the redeveloped marina.Anticipated to open in 2026, Four Seasons Jacksonville will offer 170 rooms, 26 private residences, pools and dining options including a signature rooftop restaurant and bar.
Phase two of the project will include a five-acre (two-ha) mixed-use development which may include a medical facility as well as retail, residential, car parking and green space.
